DiVento is the solidarity and sustainable wine of the Donne della Vite for the Casa di Anita di Amani ONLUS. Every year a new wine true to its name, which encapsulates in a word the power of transformation and change.

Now in its seventh year - after having been an aromatic white from resistant varieties, an organic IGT Toscana red, a Spumante Brut dell'Oltrepò pavese (first white, then rosé and finally sweet), a Rosso Montefalco - in 2024 it is a Colli Martani Grechetto DOC, with the name DiVento GIOIA.

The New DiVento: what wine it will be and how we made it

DiVento GIOIA is a Colli Martani Grechetto Doc made from Grechetto grapes and vinified in steel. Straw yellow in colour, it has intense aromas of exotic fruit and yellow peach, floral notes of freesia and hawthorn with citrus and fresh notes that make it a "joyful wine" and "cheerful", like the children of the Casa di Anita to whom this wine is dedicated.

In 2024, DiVento was again made with a focus on sustainability and the environment, from the commitment in the field to the choice of materials with a low environmental impact: light glass, natural cork stoppers, green caps made of Derma material, packaging made of recycled paper.

How to know and have DiVento GIOIA

Divento 2024 will be presented on Wednesday 27 November at Castello Vicchiomaggio in Greve in Chianti (FI) at a conference organised by the Donne della Vite. 

The approximately 1000 750 mL bottles will be distributed against a free donation of at least €10.

All funds raised, minus the expenses incurred in the realisation of the project - transparently accounted for - will be donated to Amani to finance the Anita House project.  

DiVento is not like other wines.

It is new because of the way it was created: a solidarity competition between a group of partners who contributed the raw materials, packaging, services and professionalism needed to make our bottles.

It is new in the characteristics of the wine and the packaging, made with a focus on environmental and social sustainability.

It is new above all because of the purpose for which it was created: to raise funds for Anita's House, the Amani project in Kenya that provides shelter for street girls, a safe haven that guarantees them alternatives and opportunities.

The DiVento GIOIA project is the result of the collaboration between the Associazione Donne della Vite and Arnaldo Caprai and thanks to the contribution of the other partners: Enoplastic, Enovetro, Nextflow, Promuovere, Rep Packaging and Vinventions.
